| I would be remiss if I did not pay special tribute
to World Class Manufacturing and the expertise of Gary Carnan, the
owner. He has been most attentive to the manufacture of this profiler.
It is rare to get the help of such a fine machinist who will pay attention
to the most minute detail and provide ideas from his wealth of knowledge
about machining. I have spent over twenty years in the manufacture
of this shaper and profiler. I have had to endure the ridicule and
careless work of many shops. Gary Carnan has been able to correct
and improve many of the concepts I have required. I am especially
thankful because I know that fine machine shops are rare and very
few want to spend their efforts on making bassoon reed profilers.
Gary Carnan has fulfilled and exceeded my requirements for these tools.
